Protected Amino Acids

CIL offers a variety of conventional and nonconventional protected amino acids for solid phase peptide synthesis. The conventional Fmocs/Bocs include L-Lys (e.g., 13C6, 15N2, CNLM-4754-H-PK) and -Arg (e.g., 13C6, 15N4, CNLM-8474-H-PK), while the nonconventionals encompass alternate protected amino acids (e.g., Leu, Ile, Phe, Tyr, Val). Isotopic labeling can be either uniform or partial, with preloaded resins also available to help aid peptide synthesis efforts.

99% Enriched Amino Acids

CIL offers a large breadth of highly enriched (i.e., 99%) stable isotope-labeled amino acids for improved accuracy in quantitative MS-based applications. These materials represent the highest isotopically enriched amino acids that are commercially available and offered in their research grade and/or microbiological/pyrogen tested (MPT) form. 

N-Fmoc Amino Acids

Solid phase peptide synthesis is commonly conducted with 9-fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl (Fmoc) amino acid building blocks. To help facilitate the synthesis of a broad range of tryptic or peptic peptides, CIL offers a collection of variable, stable isotope-labeled Fmocs. These building blocks are canonical amino acids (e.g., alanine or Ala, isoleucine or Iso, leucine or Leu, lysine or Lys).

N-t-Boc Amino Acids

CIL offers a number of Boc amino acids for solid phase peptide synthesis. The protected group is located on the amino acid side chain, while the stable isotope labeling is variable (i.e., 13C, D, 15N). 

Uniformly Labeled Protected Amino Acids

CIL offers a variety of uniformly labeled, protected amino acids for solid phase peptide synthesis. The side chain protected groups are N-Fmoc or -Boc, while the amino acids are canonical (e.g., L-arginine or Arg, L-isoleucine or Iso, L-phenylalanine or Phe, L-valine or Val) and the labeled isotope is variable (i.e., 13C, D, 15N).

Partially Labeled Protected Amino Acids

CIL offers an assortment of partially labeled, protected amino acids for solid phase peptide synthesis. The side chain protected groups are N-Fmoc or -Boc, while the amino acids are canonical (e.g., Glycine or Gly, L-Lysine or Lys, L-Serine or Ser, L-Tryptophan or Trp) and the labeled isotope is variable (i.e., 13C, D, 15N).
